About InvestEngine
InvestEngine is everything the modern investor should need. Unbeatable value, market-leading automation, and built for easy, long-term investing. We’ve built a strong foundation, have over £1.5billion invested, award-winning service, and a passionate team, now we’re ready to scale.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our compliance team.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating and delivering a structured programme of business reviews that assess suitability, data accuracy and client outcomes - ensuring every stage is well controlled, transparent and auditable.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong project discipline with regulatory knowledge, thrives on cross-functional coordination and takes pride in building sustainable, well-documented frameworks that stand up to scrutiny. You’ll work closely with Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Data teams, ensuring every deliverable meets the highest standards of quality and governance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of complex business review projects- from data extraction and triage through to client communication and project closure.
- Design and implement structured project plans, milestones and reporting frameworks aligned to agreed timelines and governance requirements.
- Build and maintain robust documentation, ensuring full traceability, control design, and version management across all methodologies and outputs.
- Coordinate input from multiple teams (including Compliance, Risk, Operations and Data) to deliver accurate and consistent results.
- Develop and automate Management Information (MI) dashboards to track progress, QA results and emerging risks.
- Embed lessons learned, quality assurance and sustainable process improvements into business-as-usual operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing structured, multi phase projects within financial services or other regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of governance, control design, and data led project delivery.
- Exceptional organisational skills - able to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies and reporting cycles concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Proven experience in suitability or client outcome reviews and assurance programmes.
- Strong understanding of FCA expectations including Consumer Duty, DISP and COBS principles.
- Skilled in using MI automation or workflow tools for tracking review throughput and quality assurance.
- Project management certification (Prince2, PMP or similar).
- Experience working with cross functional governance forums or steering committees.
How We Work
We’re a lean, fast-moving team that values clarity, ownership, and transparency.
You’ll have the freedom to experiment, the responsibility to follow through, and the backing of a team that values clear thinking and open dialogue. We believe in solving problems at the root, not just treating the symptoms.

Work alongside talented professionals who are experts in their fields — smart, driven, and generous with their knowledge.
