About the Role

We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our People team and own the day-to-day delivery of HR operations across the UK and our contractor population.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You’ll be the person who ensures onboarding runs smoothly, payroll inputs are clean, contracts are accurate, and our HR systems remain reliable and audit-ready.

It’s ideal for someone who:

• Understands deadlines (especially payroll and Day 1 setup)

• Has a strong sense of urgency and business criticality

• Is comfortable challenging when something doesn’t look right

You won’t be designing high-level people strategy — you’ll be making sure the foundations run flawlessly.

What You’ll Do

• Own onboarding and offboarding end-to-end. You’ll ensure employees and contractors are fully set up for Day 1 and that leavers are processed quickly, accurately, and compliantly. Nothing should fall through the cracks.

• Maintain HR systems and data integrity. You’ll treat our HRIS as the source of truth — keeping data complete, accurate, and updated with proper approvals. Clean data matters here.

• Manage contracts and documentation. You’ll prepare contracts, letters, and addenda from approved templates, ensuring accuracy and proper filing. Attention to detail is critical.

• Support payroll and contractor administration. You’ll prepare payroll inputs, coordinate deadlines, and support contractor invoicing processes in close partnership with Finance.

• Handle BAU People requests. You’ll triage and respond to operational requests with clarity and structure — prioritising what’s business-critical and communicating clearly when dependencies arise.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in HR Operations / People Operations / HR Administration

• Experience supporting UK employees and/or contractors

• Strong HRIS experience and confidence handling people data

• Comfortable working with payroll inputs and structured processes

• Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented

• Calm communicator who closes loops

• High integrity and discretion

• Experience in fintech, regulated environments, or start-ups]
